This unique commission was offered by a church member to honor the passing of his beloved wife. Working with the donor and the clergy we developed a garden plan and a ritual for the ceremonial disposal of remains. Surrounded by family and loved ones, a simple single stone holds an urn with four openings to the cardinal points. Celebrants are invited to pour water into the urn, moving the ashes onto the stone, thereby completing the circle of life while acknowledging the sacredness of the passings existence in a loving community of faith.
